We still offer a minimum four night stay during Summer.
All vacations not beginning on Saturday must use the nightly rate when booking.

North Star Lake Resort located in the heart of the Chippewa National Forest just 26 miles north of Grand Rapids on the Edge of the Wilderness scenic byway is the gem of Minnesota family resorts. Our Lodge
Our Lodge is the heart of the resort. During the day, one can connect to Wi-Fi, play in our huge game room, and enjoy lunch or refreshments on our large deck overlooking the lake listening to loons. Our gift shop, resort bikes, ice cream and snacks are located here. In the evenings, the Lodge offers game nights, movie nights and other family activities.
Swimming
Swimming options include our heated swimming pool and our amazing sandy beach on the lake where you will find our water trampolines and other water toys. Other outdoor activities include sand volleyball, basketball, shuffleboard, horseshoes, well-equipped playground, hiking/biking trails and an assortment of yard games such as corn hole and ladder golf. Sunbathers can enjoy the sundecks at the pool or the beach. Water activities include the free use of our canoes, kayaks or paddleboats. Boat or pontoon rentals are available.
Fishing
Some of Minnesota’s finest fishing can be found on 1,000+ acre North Star Lake. The lake is clean and clear with a depth of 90 feet. Angling on North Star is a challenging experience with 15 miles of shoreline including many points, secluded bays and underwater reefs. Resort guests enjoy our world-class fishing. A Minnesota Family Fishing Vacation will be especially memorable when you catch trophy musky, walleye, largemouth bass or our abundant population of crappy and panfish!
