- Deposit due upon booking reservation.
- Cabin Deposit & Cancellation Policy – we require a 25% deposit at the time of booking. There is no credit given for late arrivals or early departures, so be sure to plan your getaway accordingly. If you must cancel your reservation and we’re able to rebook the cabin, we’ll refund your deposit minus a $150 cancellation fee. No refunds for events or weather that is outside of our control.
- Please note that a 3% surcharge will be applied to all credit card payments made toward cabin or boat rentals. This fee helps cover processing costs and keeps our overall rates as affordable as possible. We happily accept cash or checks as alternative payment methods.
- Extra person fee:
- 0-3 years: Free
- 4-12 years: $20 nightly/$140 weekly
- 13 years & Up $30 nightly/$210 weekly
- Daily visitor charge – $10/person. Daily visitors will only be those visiting guests who are staying at the resort.
- We require one week advanced notice for early arrivals (before 1:00pm) – $50/cabin.
- All cabin rentals are subject to 7.875% state sales tax plus 3% local lodging tax.
- No smoking or vaping allowed in cabins.
- No towels are provided.
- Use of PWC (jet skis) allowed!
- Guests will be responsible for any damage to furniture, cabins and grounds.
- Pool typically opens Mid June and closes late August/early September.
- Resort and amenities have hazards that can be subject to injury. All guests assume liability for them and all guests in their party.
Pet Policy
- Pets must be under your control & leashed at all times.
- Leash may not be more than six feet long.
- Do not leave your pet outside unattended.
- No pets allowed on the swimming beach, in the pool area, on the playground, or in the lodge.
- Owners MUST clean up after your pets.
- Be courteous to your neighbors and be mindful of your pets barking.
- Owner is responsible for the actions of their pet.
- Owner is responsible for any damages to North Star Lake Resort’s property as a direct result of pet.

Cabins are fully furnished with Wifi, TV and Amazon Fire Stick streaming services, refrigerator, range, sink and cabinets. Table and chairs with a complete set of dishes, silverware, glasses, toaster, coffeepot, microwave, cooking utensils and plenty of hot and cold running water. Each cabin has a full bath with shower or tub/shower. The first set of linens, pillows and extra blankets are furnished. Each cabin is heated by a gas fireplace or wall furnace.
No towels are provided.
Each cabin has its own charcoal grill and picnic table.
Free Wi-Fi (High Speed Wireless Internet) is available throughout the entire resort.

- Dock space and boat launching are provided free of charge.
- Use of paddle boats, kayaks, or canoes are free of charge as are life jackets and/or cushions.
- No towing behind pontoons allowed.
- Daily or half-day pontoon rentals may only be made upon resort check-in if available.
- PWC (Jet Ski’s etc.) may be launched from North Star Lake Resort. Please maintain responsible boating practices while on your PWC.
